Reid Zitzelberg is a 2016 2B/SS with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Tarpon Springs, FL who attends East Lake. Medium frame with wiry strength throughout frame, good athleticism with high-end physical projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.00 seconds. Quick bat offensively, showed very impressive bat-to-ball and overall contact skills both in batting practice and in-game. Rotational swing with more pull-heavy approach, rocks back into load with full weight on backside, transfers well and brings weight into contact. Has carry off the barrel that will only improve with additional strength gains. Worked out defensively in the infield, showing quality footwork and good hands when fielding. Quick transfer from glove to hand, gets rid of the ball quickly with quality arm strength across the diamond. IF velocity topped at 81 MPH. Very good student.
