Reagan Burford is a 2020 SS/2B/3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Germantown, TN who attends St. George's HS. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front and shows a clean funnel into body, short steps moving through the ball, longer arm action through the back and shows accuracy across the diamond, arm strength will continue to develop, shows athleticism on the charge. Righthanded hitter, begins with a tall stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Simple swing and remains balanced, shows looseness to hands and shows ability to create separation. Stays short to the ball, high contact approach due to ability to repeat swing, shows carry off the barrel. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Mississippi.
