Generoso Romano is a 2021 3B/RHP, MIF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Roseland, NJ who attends St Joseph. Large and projectable frame with lean muscle and more room to fill. Ran a 7.02 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman who took reps in the infield with clean hands, nimble on feet moving well to the ball, could breakdown more at the point of gather but made all plays, outstanding arm strength from a long arm action, topped out at 89 mph across the diamond. Secondary righthanded pitcher, begins delivery with a simple side step windup to a big leg kick with slight hip coil at the top, long and loose arm action up to a 3/4 arm slot, tremendous arm speed getting the most out of his lower half as well, filled up the strike zone with fastball and curveball, heater topped out at 85 mph, curveball shows sharp late 12-to-6 bite. Righthanded hitter, even stance, toe tap trigger, present bat speed to stroke with plenty of extension, shifts well into contact while torquing his hips well, projects for big-time pop with added strength. Outstanding student. Named to 2018 14U National Top Prospect List.
