Mitchell Rennie is a 2017 1B/OF with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from West Kelowna, BC who attends Mount Boucherie HS. Large, physical frame with good strength throughout, some projection remaining as well. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.76 seconds. Sets up to hit from straight, even stance with good balance; shows good bat speed on line drive plane with good shift in lower half into swing. Showed good line drive jump off the barrel when squared up, strength in swing allows for legitimate power to play at times as well. Worked out defensively at 1st base. Very athletic for position, very good hands fielding and picking, moves well into throws and shows solid arm strength across the diamond up to 72 MPH. Very good student.
