Fox Wagner is a 2017 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 225 lb. frame from myrtle beach, SC who attends Socastee High School. Medium frame, large build, strength and physicality, and room to refine frame. Primary first basemen, showed a short arm action, athletic actions to the ball, and developing arm strength up to 78 mph. At the plate, started with an even stance, medium hand set, and a toe tap timing mechanism. Still hand load and inconsistent weight shift. Line drive swing plane working up to the ball and strength at the point of contact. Improved timing would lead to more consistent results at the plate. Also pitched, online delivery, uptempo delivery, compact arm circle, repeated well, and threw from a high three quarter arm slot. Changed looks and holds well with extension down the mound. Fastball worked 74-76 mph with sink to the lower third of the zone and occasional cut when working glove side. Curveball showed depth at 65 mph and mixed in a changeup with replicated arm speed at 69 mph.
