Adam Bloebaum is a 2019 LHP/1B with a 6-5 190 lb. frame from Raleigh, NC who attends Cardinal Gibbons High School. Extra-large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Primary lefthanded pitcher, works exclusively out of the stretch, shows a steady tempo with slight pause at top and leg lift up to belt, strides open down the mound in drive to plate. Short arm action through the back side, works to a three-quarters release point and able to generate consistent cut on fastball. Topped out at 82 mph, projects with additional lower half incorporate, can get on hitters hands and stays off barrels, fills the zone. Able to create plane and shows feel for curveball, short depth with 1-7 shape up to 70 mph; occasional sweeping finish to breaker up to 72 mph gives it slider shape. Fuller arm action on throws from first base, gets on top and shows carry to the base, hands play well out front, short steps coming off the bag. Lefthanded hitter, begins stance with hands pulled back and utilizes a high leg lift trigger for timing at start. Full swing path through the zone, shows carry off the barrel and able to generate extension with long limbs. Works the opposite field well and shows ability to turn on the ball.
