Owen Griffith is a 2016 C with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Aiken, SC who attends South Aiken. Medium frame, lean athletic build with room to fill. Long uppercut swing, power translated well into game at-bats and had a standout performance that included a 3-for-3 game with three doubles. Good leverage to create power, projectable strength portends for developing present doubles power further. Strong arm behind the plate, long arm action, projects well defensively with live actions, good footwork.Excellent student. Named to the Southeast Underclass Showcase Top Prospect Team.
