Ben Berger is a 2018 OF with a 5-6 130 lb. frame from Chalfont, PA who attends Central Bucks-South HS. Shorter young build, minimal present strength. Left handed hitter, big leg lift trigger, tends to stride open and lose balance/direction, aggressive swing approach and swings hard, looking to pull the ball, like the aggressiveness but needs better direction to contact. Good athlete in the outfield with very good speed for a freshman, 5.12 in the forty, has a quick release and good footwork through the ball, low release on his throws with developing arm strength. Should keep improving with additional strength and physical maturity. Good student.
