Cole Schroeder is a 2019 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Foristell, MO who attends Christian Brothers College HS. Athletic build with good physical projection and plenty of room to get stronger. Max effort delivery with a fast and hard front side, tends to leave his arm behind on his fastball. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, frequently up in the zone due to his mechanics, was his third best pitch this outing. Curveball has excellent spin and hard biting action, potential plus pitch he gets over well and lands for strikes. Also showed feel for the strike zone with a straight change up. Key to development will be controlling effort and front side to give him fastball command. Ability to spin the ball is high level. Very good student, verbal commitment to Missouri State.
