Ryan Zeferjahn is a 2016 RHP with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Topeka, KS who attends Seaman HS. Young look and build, long and lean, high waist, very projectable. Simple hip turn delivery, gets his core and upper half turned well, gets back on line in sequence, 3/4's arm slot, arm is fast and whippy, front side will occasionally be early opening. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, lots more in there, throws strikes with his fastball and can locate glove side. Slurve type breaking ball, shows good depth and tilt with 10/4 shape. Very projectable young pitcher who we've heard mid-90's about many times this spring. Very good student, verbal commitment to Kansas. Named to the Perfect Game All-American Classic Team.
