Matthew Kouser is a 2024 RHP/1B, 2B with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from Haddonfield, NJ who attends St. Augustine Preparatory. High-waisted, athletic build with lean muscle present throughout his frame with more physical projection remaining to be added. Primary right-handed pitcher, used long levers to get down the slope with a loose and effortless operation. Clean arm stroke from a 3/4 slot, tunneling his three-pitch mix well. Fastball sat in the mid-80s, topping out at 87 mph with more left in the tank. Worked both sides of the plate as his heater got on hitters with riding action through the zone. Change-up fell off the table with late fading action through the zone. Got ahead of hitters consistently, working backwards often as he landed all three-pitches for strikes during his outing. Excellent student. Named to Northeast Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
