Catcher Hopkins is a 2026 C/UT with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Tomball. Tall and athletic build with good present strength and more to come. 6.64 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher with excellent catch and throw, resulting in a 1.84 pop time. Athletic and quality defender with good receiving skills. Really solid bet to catch at the next level. Also showed arm strength from the outfield up to 98 and the infield as well. Switch hitter with a big stride forward and upright start. Open stance with a high hand set and a high back elbow. Has power to the pull side and showed it more from the left side of the plate. Really advanced defensive catcher with power upside offensively. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to Texas A&M.
