Jake Repaci is a 2019 OF/RHP, C with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Rye Brook, NY who attends Blind Brook. Medium build with square shoulders and a high waist, lean and skinny frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 4.90 second 40 yard dash. Primary outfielder, short steps to the ball coming through baseball well, upright gather pulling front side, full and long arm action into throws, should work on getting on top of throws more for better accuracy and carry, average arm strength topping out at 77 mph from the outfield. Also pitched, short side step up to a belt high leg lift, long arm action up to a high 3/4 slot, decent back leg drive but could get more from lower half for added arm speed and velocity, stays online to the plate but has a tendency to fall off to the first base side, fastball is mostly straight but showed occasional cutting action, curveball has some tightness and 11-5 shape, similar arm strength on the mound as in the outfield topping out at 77 mph with his fastball. Righthanded hitter, high hand set, leg lift trigger, good shift into contact but tends to leak out onto front side, uphill barrel path looking to lift, swing gets rotational pulling front side off at times. Good student.
