Cole Forrest is a 2021 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Sandy Springs, GA who attends Mount Vernon Presbyterian. Medium athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength. 6.79 runner in the sixty. Played both the infield and outfield, showed solid arm strength from both positions when moving through the ball, tends to stop to throw in the infield and can work on his flow and footwork through release, has athletic actions overall and the combination of speed and arm strength to be a next level defender in both the infield and outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread bent knee stance with a good lower half move into contact, hits under control with a middle of the field to pull side approach, mature high contact swing that he executes well. Also pitched, long and loose arm action from a 3/4's arm slot, was a strike thrower with a fastball that topped out at 81 mph, has been up to 85 at multiple PG tournaments in the past, soft mid 60's curveball with an 11/5 break.
