Jackson Reynolds is a 2018 RHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Opelika, AL who attends Opelika HS. Extra-large, athletic frame with square shoulders, long limbs and a lean, very projectable frame with room to fill throughout body. Primary righthanded pitcher, begins with a side step into delivery, gets tall on backside with a slight hip turn at top, remains upright and works to a lower three-quarters arm slot with a short stride down the mound. Loose and quick arm action, topped out at 85 mph with fastball and filled up the zone, able to induced ground ball contact with pitch when down in zone while staying off barrels. Projects nicely with additional lower half. Generates late diving life to changeup at 79 mph, quality life and maintains arm action well on offering. Short depth to breaking ball at 71 mph with 11-5 shape, threw all three pitches for strikes. Good student.
