Dominick Trevino is a 2017 OF/MIF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Edmond, OK who attends Santa Fe HS. Athletic build with some tightly wound strength. Good runner, 6.92 in the sixty. Has good outfield tools with the speed and solid arm strength, can improve the quickness in his release. Also shows similar middle infield tools and skills. Right handed hitter, hits from a quiet load and keeps his mechanics simple and direct, aggressive swing with quick hands and good bat speed, short line drive swing and barrel up the ball often, repeatable high average hitting approach. Also pitched, had a quick inning throwing strikes with an 81-82 mph fastball from a high 3/4's slot, got nice running action on the pitch. Good student.
