Lawrence Sutton is a 2020 OF/SS with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Summertown, TN who attends Lawrence County. The 2-way prospect has an athletic frame with some present strength with room to add more. In the outfield he had a methodical approach to the ball with a long arm swing and some carry out of the hand. On the infield he squares the ball up, staying balanced throughout his approach, and is accurate throwing to first base. The right-handed hitter starts upright with a narrow base and works to stay inside with his hands. Strong hands that showed jump off the bat when timed up. Some future power potential. The secondary right handed pitcher has a long arm action on the back and a 3/4 release that produced some arm side run to his fastball. The slider cuts across the zone and produced soft contact, solid future offering. Good student.
