Alex McBee is a 2017 LHP/OF, 1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Auburn, WA who attends Auburn Mountainview. Large frame with broad shoulders and highly projectable frame. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.53 seconds. Near overtop slot, creates solid angle to plate with extended higher three quarters slot, arm works well, uses lower half in delivery and gets online. Fastball worked 78-81 and touched 82, good tailing action, has the ability to swing the fastball back over the corners of the plate. Curveball showed quality 1-7 shape, good spin and overall depth, has the ability to throw curveball for strikes and as a chase pitch. Threw strikes with both fastball and curveball, did good job mixing and matching. Understands sequencing. Very good student.
