Cam Burris is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Bellefonte, PA who attends St Joseph's Catholic Academy. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, shows a simple delivery with a slight hip turn at top with back turn, short stride down the mound and lands slightly open with strike foot. Short and compact arm action working to a three-quarters arm slot. Quick arm through back, topped out at 84 mph once early in outing, running life down in the zone and attacks hitters with pitch, projects with additional lower half utilized in drive. Induced consistent ground ball contact and can miss bats. Inconsistent release point on curveball, flashed depth and feel developed. Similar strong arm from outfield, works behind the ball and utilizes a crow hop for momentum, three-quarters slot with arm speed, accuracy to the bag. Righthanded hitter, begins with a low and set and back elbow at the plate with an upright and even stance. Good shift moving into contact, linear swing path through the zone and direct to the ball. Shows intent with swing and can work the middle and opposite parts of the field. Occasional lift at point of contact. Very good student.
