Bradley Blalock is a 2019 RHP/3B, OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Grayson High School. Large, athletic frame with high waist and square shoulders, present strength to frame with addtional room to fill throughout. Posted a 6.87 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, works with a steady tempo and consistent balance to delivery, gets tall on backside with a leg lift up past belt at balance point. Stays on line with arm action through the back with a short stroke, works to a high three-quarters release point. Creates heavy plane on fastball, topped out at 86 mph with fastball, ball comes out clean with occasional cut action to fastball. Works ahead in count well and can locate to glove side with comfort, repeats arm action and projects with additional drive from lower half. Flashed both curveball with 11-5 shape and a changeup at 79 mph, pitched mostly off of fastball and pounded the zone. Nice arm strength from both the infield and outfield, clean and easy exchange on throws across the diamond with carry on throws, extra step from the outfield but shows accuracy to intended base. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate with a wide base; utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing at start of swing. Full swing path through the zone with timing components, worked the pull side consistently with line drive contact off the barrel. Direct path to the ball, shows ability to work all fields with nice hand-eye coordination skills. Named to Fall National Showcase Top Prospect List. Very good student.
