Javier Lopez is a 2019 RHP with a 6-2 169 lb. frame from Trujillo Alto, PR who attends IBAHS. Slender young build, very long arms, lots of physical projection. Low effort easy mechanics, extended 3/4's to mid 3/4's arm slot, simple turn and throw delivery. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, has lots of run and sink, works low in the zone and misses low when he misses. Sweeping curveball with some spin and depth, developing change up with some life. Looks like a 2021 physically and should keep improving as he physically matures and gains more strength. Good student.
