2024 Ohio Valley Workout Showcase (Wed.)
Garrett Broadwater is a 2025 OF/LHP with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Carrollton, OH who attends Carrollton. Recorded a 7.24 second sixty-yard dash time at this event, was nursing a knee injury at the time and would probably run a better time at full health. Primary outfielder with some twitch to his actions, good athlete overall and has some jump/bounce to his step - plays with good energy. Made low and online throws and utilized a big crow hop into release. Quick and circular arm action, fields the ball cleanly out front. Also worked out at first base, is athletic enough to make and work, most likely an OF long term due to size and speed. Left-handed hitter, has an aggressive swing with present bat speed. Downhill swing path with a gap to gap approach and gets the lower half through. At his best when staying on a line drive plane and not looking to lift too much. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
