Cole Hassman is a 2017 C/1B/3B with a 6-2 250 lb. frame from Altoona, IA who attends Southeast Polk HS. Big and extra strong build, football build. Left handed hitter, has a power approach at the plate and executes it well, long and loose swing with good extension out front, has lift in his swing when he gets the barrel out and isn't too inside, can pull the with authority, stays relaxed and sees the ball well, has the proper approach for his tools and strengths. Has good feet both at first base and behind the plate, good one spot athlete with some lower half flexibility, makes accurate throws at both positions. Good student.
