Zachary Reid is a 2019 1B/3B with a 6-1 220 lb. frame from Rock Hill, SC who attends Northside Christian Academy. Large frame with very strong, mature build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.09 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance with leg lift trigger, rotational swing in upper half, gets hips moving into swing, line drive swing plane, has strength when square, mostly upper- half-oriented swing approach. Worked out at first base, later hands but smoothness to funnel, deliberate actions, fields cleanly and works through, clocked up to 65 mph on throws. Good student.
