Brooks Sartain is a 2024 SS/2B/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends Trinity Valley. Big framed athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. 6.82 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, works low to the ball and has good footwork, confident glove actions with a quick transfer, makes all the routine plays cleanly, type of athlete that can play all over the infield as he develops and matures. Also worked out in the outfield with similar athletic actions and a quick infield like transfer and release. Left handed hitter, has a loose and fluid swing with good bat speed and nice lift and extension, ball comes off the barrel hard, still has plenty of projection as a hitter. Excellent student, signed with Dallas Baptist. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect List.
