Mikhai Grant is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Stockbridge, GA who attends IMG Academy. Athletic build with good strength and long arms. Side step delivery with a tight mid 3/4's arm slot, compact quick arm action. Fastball topped out at 94 mph early, worked mostly 90-92 mph, mostly straight. Was most successful when mixing his pitches, landed his curveball well for strikes with some downer depth. Throws the curveball to right handed hitters, shortens it for more of a slider effect to left handed hitters. Strong arm who will keep improving with better fastball command. Good student, verbal commitment to Mississippi State.
