Denali Rivera is a 2024 SS/C with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Magnolia, TX who attends Magnolia. Slender young build with lots of time and room to get stronger. 7.67 runner in the sixty. Has quick and lively feet in the middle infield on defense, works through the ball well, obvious athleticism for his age, hands are in good position out front, gets on top of his throws well from an extended slot and has some carry for his age, strong overall defensive tools and skills. Right handed hitter, starts his swing with a big hanging leg lift load that leaves his foot late at times, short line drive hand path to the ball, has good hand/eye coordination and handles the barrel well with mid field to opposite field contact, will continue to improve as a hitter with additional strength and lower half pre-swing adjustments. Good student.
