Marcus Lee Sang is a 2019 OF/LHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Owings, MD who attends Northern. Medium build, strong and athletic frame with broad shoulders. Ran a 5.00 second 40 yard dash. Primary outfielder, really loose all around actions, fluid to ball coming through getting on top of ball well, pretty clean arm action, good arm strength topping out at 90 mph from the outfield. Also pitched, short side step to a high leg lift, clean and quick arm action up to a high 3/4 slot, plenty of athleticism to delivery with good tempo, creates lots of angle, effort at release, arm works well, fastball is mostly straight flashing cutting action occasionally. Lefthanded hitter, even stance, leg lift trigger, uncoils into contact, short hand path to ball, pretty compact swing getting the barrel through the zone nicely, present bat speed producing high exit velocities when squared, turns on the ball well with strong hands. Good student.
