Scout Knotts is a 2017 1B/OF with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Mason Neck, VA who attends South County Secondary High School. Extra-large build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically with additional strength. Posted a 7.26 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary first basemen, showed a very strong arm, highly athletic around the bag, good feeds, and aggressive through the ball. Arm strength up to 87 mph across the diamond. At the plate, started with a medium hand set, elastic hand load, and a large leg lift timing mechanism. Showed rhythm in the box with good torque through lower half. Generated leverage through lower half with ability to backspin the ball off the barrel. Good bat speed through the zone with power potential to pull side. Named to the Top Prospect List.
