Jacob Davis is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein. Large, tall frame with a very projectable build showing to already be filling out with even more room to fill in the future. Ran a 6.90 second sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder, aggressive coming through the baseball doing a good job of carrying big frame into throws, very good arm strength with a loose arm action, balanced and athletic look with projectable attributes. Secondary righthanded pitcher, high leg lift sitting on backside, transfers weight well before working downhill, over the top arm slot showing a fast arm, short sink on fastball and showed good run when down in the zone sitting 78-82 with a curveball thrown inconsistently with 12/6 movement in the mid-60's, slider showing more depth sitting right at 70. Righthanded hitter, wide stance working with a toe tap to an even wider hitting position, keeps weight on backside while showing a smooth barrel path, bat speed present using strength to his advantage, gets extended with a longer swing but repeats well, high elbow resulting in a steep swing. Outstanding student.
