Brian Port is a 2019 MIF/3B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Peachtree City, GA who attends Starrs Mill HS. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build; body projects well moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.55 seconds. Sets up to hit from upright, slightly open stance with high back elbow. Stacks backside and leans back into load, swings with impressive intent to do damage. Good balance through swing, smooth line drive stroke with slight lift at contact, did a very good job making consistent contact across the diamond. Very good approach. Worked out defensively in the infield, quick feet throughout with good balance, good twitchiness to actions, fields cleanly and comes through the ball, showed good accuracy across the diamond with developing arm strength clocked up to 73 MPH. Very good student.
