Jack Becker is a 2019 OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Williamsville, MO who attends Greenville HS. Medium frame with an athletic build. Projects for additional strength. Primary outfielder with smooth paced footwork while closing to the baseball. Funnels out front and maintains momentum towards the bag while working through exchange. Released from a high three-quarters arm slot generating uphill carry to the bag at 77 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, even stance and simple front side trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Direct hand path to baseball with a level, line drive plane through extension. Displayed solid feel for the barrel while looking to work the ball to the middle of the field. Flashed the strength to split the gaps and produced carry when on time and squared. Also pitched working exclusively from the stretch. Small leg lift and worked to the plate with drop and drive actions. Loose arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters slot. Fastball came out of hand cleanly created some downhill plane through the zone in the low 70's, topped at 73 miles per hour. Curveball had 12/6 shape with loose spin and occasional depth when staying on top of offering. Consistently looked to challenge hitters with both pitches to the bottom quadrants of the zone. Good student.
