Jeremy Garcia is a 2019 LHP/OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends St. Anthony's HS. Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. Smooth delivery with good deception, hides the ball well in back and arm works well through a high 3/4's release, repeats his mechanics very well. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, gets outstanding running life on the pitch and can add and subtract velocity, nothing straight. Curveball shows good spin and occasional depth and will keep gaining power as he gets stronger. Shows good athleticism in the outfield with sound footwork and a loose arm, accurate throws. Left handed hitter, open stance and stays open, hands tight through the zone, uphill swing and puts the ball in the air. Good student.
