Bobby Osburn is a 2023 RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Fuquay Varina, NC who attends Fuquay-Varina. Lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from a hybrid stretch delivery, works down the slope well with an in line delivery and a 3/4's arm slot, gets into his hips well. Fastball worked consistently in the mid-80's and topped out at 87 mph, gets good arm side running life at times and was able to get to the glove side as well. Threw a short hard slider as breaking ball and generated some swing and miss on the pitch. Flashed a promising change up as a third pitch. Starter profile with the ability to throw strikes with three pitches, still plenty of projection here. Excellent student. Named to the Carolina Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
