Garrison Koch is a 2019 LHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Columbia Grammar-Prep. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and some present strength on frame, additional room to fill moving forward. Primary lefthanded pitcher, begins delivery with a simple side step moving into a high leg lift trigger, slight coil at balance point before breaking into a short arm action and working to a high three-quarters release point. Short stride and can continue to implement additional lower half into drive, remains compact with arm action through release. Works slightly across body at release but gets on top of fastball, topped out at 71 mph and filled the strike zone. Nice feel for curveball, shows 12-6 shape on the pitch and landed for strikes up to 64 mph. Very good student.
