Jake Cohen is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from New Orleans, LA who attends Brother Martin. Medium athletic build with some present strength. Coiled delivery with a good lower half turn, uses his body well to help generate torque and velocity, 3/4's arm slot. Steady mid-80's fastball, gets some running life on it and works it inside to right handed hitters very well. Nice slider with snapping bite and two-plane depth, has confidence in this slider and it's his out pitch. Repeats his delivery well and attacks hitters. Verbal commitment to Southern Mississippi.
