Brett Pearcy is a 2024 RHP/2B, SS with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Lenexa, KS who attends Olathe Northwest. Primary right-handed pitcher with a solid medium size frame. Long stride down the mound with a three-quarter arm slot and average extension out front. Fastball topped out at 82 coming in on a steeper downhill plane. Showed both a four-seam and two-seam fastball. Breaking ball showed sweeping action across the zone and showed some sharp biting action to it. Low 70's change-up with fading action completed the pitch arsenal. Combination of projection with feel for spin and a three-pitch mix on the mound. Also worked out in the infield with some fundamental footwork to the baseball, some stiffness to the hands, ok body control moving laterally and an above average throwing arm. Right-handed hitter with an even base and toe tap timing at the plate. Consistently gets to a quality hitting position, takes a slight uphill bat path to the baseball with some strength in the swing and feel for the barrel to impact the baseball. Concentrated effort to lift the baseball in the air. Named to Kansas City Indoor Top Prospect List. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
