Davis Johnson is a 2023 SS/2B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Mount Sterling, KY who attends Montgomery County. Medium frame with projectable, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.16 seconds. Hits from even to slightly open stance, spread out, uses ground well in swing, repeats well and stays committed to the middle of the field, creates stretch and shows good bat speed, projects for more power, took good swings in-game as well. Worked out in the infield, shows good athleticism to movements, direct footwork, clean hands at the ball, throws from multiple arm angles, clocked up to 76 mph across the diamond. Very good student, named to 2022 Ohio Valley Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List. Committed to Huntingdon College.
