Zachary Pyles is a 2024 3B/RHP, 1B with a 6-0 220 lb. frame from Gurnee, IL who attends Warren Township. He has a big frame with a large build with plenty of present strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.37 seconds. Primary third baseman that has stiffer actions when fielding the ball. He has strength in his throwing process and showed accuracy across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works exclusively from the stretch. He has a smaller leg lift and throws with a long and offline arm action. His fastball is straight and he worked it to both sides of the plate. His curveball is a loopy curveball with downer action. Right-handed hitter that starts slightly closed with high hands away from his body. He uses a quick stride for timing and swings on a downhill path that creates backspin on his line drives. He has a strong swing that allows the ball to jump off his bat when he is on time. He has the frame and strength in his swing to be a true power hitter. Named to the 2022 Chicago Indoor Top Prospect List. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
