2019 PG Florida Top Prospect Games at Miami
Sebastian "Bazz" Jimenez is a 2020 C/1B with a 6-4 202 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Coral Reef Senior. Tall with long levers, his body has looseness and enormous upside. A primary catcher with an over the top arm slot that carries well. Feet work well, used a long stride to get length, very loose hips. Handles velocity very well, subtle in flight adjustments that project to get strikes, leadership skills are apparent. The right-handed hitter has very good bat speed, slightly uphill path with ability to lift, long through the hitting zone. Simple leg lift and rhythmic throughout his process. Turns tight and shows accuracy with the barrel. Recorded the highest Diamond Kinetics specs in all three categories at the event. High level prospect on both sides of the ball. FSU commit.
