Ayden Boyle is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Overland Park, KS who attends Blue Valley Southwest. Strong, athletic build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.48 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher. Employs a small side step to belt high leg lift, staying slightly flexed at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound. Lands online with the plate and stays online with the plate through finish with athletic actions while working down the hill. Flashed a longer arm action moving into a mid three-quarter slot at release with good arm speed. Features a two pitch mix including a fastball with some arm side run thrown for consistent strikes at 82 mph complemented by a 11/5 curveball with good depth and break at 65 mph. Also worked out in the outfield. Displayed deliberate actions working to and through the ball with clean footwork. Displayed deliberate transfers into throws with good arm strength and accurate carry to the bases topping out at 80 mph from the outfield. Right handed hitter. Employs a slightly open stance with a short leg lift trigger. Uses rotational mechanics looking to drive the ball to the pull side. Showed the ability to create good bat speed in a high intent approach looking to make damage with each swing. Good student.
