Hudson Boncal is a 2021 RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Corona, CA who attends Centennial HS. Long and lanky build, very young look, projects well physically. Simple side step delivery, arm works well coming through, will fall off to the first base side occasionally but showed aptitude in making adjustments. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, gets outstanding fastball life both running and cutting depending on location, doesn't throw the ball straight. Has feel for a big 11/5 curveball that is dropped into the zone for strikes. Mixes his pitches and throws to spots. Has present pitching skills and a very good chance to continue to add velocity. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance with tight hands, long rotational swing with mostly opposite field contact. Good student.
