Jael Santos is a 2028 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Paterson, NJ. Durable, strongly built frame with athleticism and plenty of projection remaining. Recorded a 7.18 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary third baseman with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set, plenty of arm strength across and athleticism throughout. Showed lateral range to either side, while fielding cleanly out in-front and working downhill through the baseball. Delivered accurate throws up to 84 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch in this look. Incorporates a quick belt high leg lift into balance, drop-and-drive lower half movements down the slope and creates downhill plane to his fastball. Worked steadily in the low-80s with the aforementioned downhill plane and heavy life to it from a near over-the-top arm slot. Flashed promising breaking ball with vertical depth to it and swing-and-miss traits to it. Has been higher velocity wise in previous looks, used both sides of the plate effectively and will only continue to develop his full repertoire. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider, slightly open base with a flatter, tight hand set and high back elbow. Incorporates a subtle toe-tap trigger with good lower half weight shift into launch. Short, direct stroke with simple movements and consistent impact through the middle and pull-side of the field. Flashes immense power potential at times and in-game frequently. High level two-way talent with tons of upside and projection remaining on both sides of the ball. Excellent Student. Named to the 2023 Perfect Game Select Baseball Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
