Yediel Rodriguez is a 2019 C with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Carolina, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Large frame with strong, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.10 seconds. Showed good hitting tools, torques hips well into swing and engages lower half, pull-side approach looking to drive the ball into the air, showed good impact off the barrel when on time, showed good power to the pull side. Worked out behind the plate, shows good fundamentals, receives well and does a good job gaining ground out of crouched, strong arm clocked up to 83 mph on throws.
