2021 Florida Prospect Showcase
Cory Filley is a 2022 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Dade City, FL who attends Pasco. Behind the plate he looks the part as he shows quick feet and gets around the ball early. The transfer was a little on the low side but his arm caught up every time to make stiff throws on the bag. In the field he has a clean glove, fielding two hands out in front and has that high catcher arm slot on some strong throws to first. Finally in the box he had a great round as he starts slightly open with a simple bat path and a controlled violent swing. Meets the ball out front as he found the barrel often and gets extended through the zone. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
