Owen Dueck is a 2022 LHP/OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Aptos, CA who attends Aptos. Medium build with length and room to fill into as he continues to develop. Primary pitcher, longer arm action from a high three-quarters to over the top slot. Conventional motion with good balance throughout. Falls off the mound to his glove side through his finish. Fastball up to 82 mph, throws a two-seam fastball with intent. Mixes in a 70 mph changeup as well as a small shaped 1-to-7 curveball. From the outifield, fields out in front and shows some fluidity to and through the baseball. At the plate, uses a tall and slightly open stance with a flat barrel plane through the zone. Ability to spray balls gap to gap. Balanced linear weight shift, hands work direct to the baseball.
