Caden Nelson is a 2026 2B/SS with a 5-6 145 lb. frame from Olive Branch, MS who attends Lewisburg. Smaller live bodied athletic build. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a small and well timed leg raise trigger, gets coiled into his swing well, fires his hips hard and gets into his lower half well, has rhythm to his swing, made consistent pull line drive contact, effective high contact swing to grow into as he gets stronger. 6.89 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has quick feet and good athleticism to the ball, ranged well to his left, works low under the ball and his glove work is smooth, had some real arm strength with a quick release. Nice all around talent with the chance to keep improving. Good student. Named to the Sunshine Mid-South Showcase Top Prospect List.
