Sam Robertson is a 2023 SS/RHP, OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Anniston, AL who attends Oxford. A taller frame with a long lower half. High-waisted build. Strength present with athleticism. Ran a 6.65 60-yard dash. A primary shortstop who had some good footwork to get to the ball. Funnels well into his throws with softer hands. Adjusted slots as needed and had a short arm action. Shows the pocket early with the glove and was able to make throws on target at 85 mph across the field. A right-handed hitter who has high-set hands and a high-back elbow. Open feet to start. Relaxed and athletic presence in the box. He had some strength at impact with easy bat speed. He produced line drives and worked all over the field during his round of BP. Got the hands to it quickly with good rotation through contact. Produced 86 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. He was 4-for-5 during the games. Constantly hitting the ball hard and using his speed to his advantage. Great student. Auburn Tigers commit.
