2024 Sunshine Texas Showcase
Brian Ramirez is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-1 145 lb. frame from San Diego, TX who attends San Diego. Compact wiry build with long levers. Ran a 7.25 in the sixty. Outfielder, good athleticism out there with quick first step actions. Short compact arm action with good accuracy and more arm strength in store. Fields ball through very well. Also pitched, slight drop and drive mechanics and fluid arm swing. Attacked the zone with his fastball, established it for strikes. Shorter slider mixed in, solid strikes all around. Right-handed hitter, even base and open stance with high hand set. Throws the barrel out front and looks to impact it hard and regularly. Good intent and feel for the opposite field and showed some comfort that way. Solid impact when barrel is met out front. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
