Zachary Connors is a 2021 RHP/3B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Danville, CA who attends San Ramon Valley. Long and slender high waisted build, very projectable physically. High 3/4's arm slot with an extended arm action, high energy delivery, creates plane and some deception, big challenge will be learning to repeat his release point consistently. Low 80's fastball, topped out at 84 mph, more there with additional strength, gets some cutting action to the glove side on occasion. Curveball showed some 11/5 depth when he let his arm speed do the work instead of overthrowing it. 7.45 runner in the sixty, showed some athleticism on defense in the infield, especially when moving, over the top arm slot with good carry on his throws. Right handed hitter, hands stay tight through his swing with a looping barrel path, mostly opposite field contact.
